At the Monday 9/14/09 Board meeting the board is going to discuss staff proposed  a Parking Ordinance.  At the last Board meeting this item came up on the consent calendar but the reading was waived until the 9/14/09 board meeting.  Staff has proposed a Park and Ride Ordinance for Park and Pay stations as well as ALL Park and Ride Stations.. The three light rail stations chosen for Park and Pay Stations are: Watt and I80, Watt West and Roseville Road

The proposed Ordinance covers the non-pay issue at the three stations, plus it covers other parking issues at all stations, such as parking in a red zone, parking for more than 24 hours, etc..  This ordinance has administrative remedies so that people who are ticketed can appeal.
