Commend or Complain

You can write a letter, Email or Phone...We suggest writing is more effective than phoning unless the issue is urgent.....

Whatever form of communication you use, include the following:

1.  Route Number (for example #30, 67, 25, Blue Line, Gold Line) or if you can,  get the number in the front corner of the bus
2. If on a Bus, ask the driver for their driver number...if they will not give it to you, no problem...do not forget to mention refusal in letter, if the letter is a complaint.
3.  Is the bus going outbound (away from town) or inbound (toward town)
4.  Date/Day of week and Time of day/night
Commendation:  describe what you observe about the Bus Driver, or other RT employee  inclduing Security Guards (describe actions, such as friendly, calls out stops, helpful, etc.)  Ask  RT to Commend the employee for their good work.
Complaint:  describe in detail about the situation, for example if this is an on-going situation such as late bus or light rail, rowdy passengers that is not addressed by the driver, provide multiple dates and times...describe what you observed about the driver or other RT employee, especially if you have talked with the employee.
